ASME B16.20 CGI Spiral Wound Gasket with Inner & Outer Rings suit for ASME B16.5 flange

Spiral wound gasket is formed of V-shaped metallic strip and soft non-metallic filler by means of piled,

spiral wound gasket and connected its end and beginning by dot welded. Depend on its excellent compression
resilience, it is suitable for sealing sports where the alteration of temperature and pressure are frequent.
It can be used as the static sealing element of pipe, valve, pump, thermal exchange, condensing tower,
plain hole and man hole of flange, etc. It has been widely applied in the fields of petrochemical,
mechanical factory, power station, metallurgy, shipbuilding, medical and pharmaceutical unclear
power station and navigation, etc.

Recommended for higher pressure applications, for use with PTFE fillers, and when delineated by ASME B16.20

Inner ring acts as a compression limiter and protects sealing elements from process media attack

A style CG gasket fitted with internal ring which gives an additional compression limiting stop and provides heat
and corrosion barrier protecting gasket windings and preventing flange erosion.
Suitable for use with flat face flanges and specified for high pressure & temperature service, class 900 and above
or where corrosive or toxic media are present.
